Our home

Our apartment is clean warm and spacious. It's a small block with only 7 apartments so is very quiet. It's well kept and nicely decorated. It's bright and airy and extremely comfortable. There is carpet in the bedrooms and wooden floors throughout the rest. It offers a small but very functional kitchen, a nice big living room with a pull out bed we also have a blow up single bed. There is a double bedroom large and spacious and a single room. Its a gated community and the apartment also has an alarm system.

( my home sleeps 3 people comfortably and I also have a pull out bed in the living and an air mattress that fits on the floor in the bedroom. So you could squeeze in two more people)

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am Nadine a single mom to an 18 year daughter - Nina. We have been living here for the past 17 years and love it. I work in a special needs children's school at primary level and my daughter is in her last year of school. My sisters family started to do exchanges about 3 years ago and encouraged us to give it a go. We love to travel and thought what better way to experience another culture and someone else to experience ours. We are very excited to try.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is in a very popular part of Dublin. We are only a 15 minute walk to the city centre and close to all public transport - trains and buses. We have a beautiful park only a 10 minute walk away and there is nothing better than a stroll up the canal on a summers evening. Just down the road is the Aviva Stadium for sporting events and concerts. We are near the RDS (Royal Dublin Society) also for concerts and sports. There are great little pubs and restaurants dotted around the area with good food and great atmosphere. We have a food market outside our gate once a week and this brings great buzz and excitement particularly in the summer months. It's also in easy reach by public transport or car to all the popular tourists spots.
