Our home

Our home is 3years old and is modern, large, open-plan, functional, warm and attractive. Upstairs there are two main bedrooms (both en-suite) and a reading room/tv room. Downstairs we have two more bedrooms and two bathrooms and a study/gym. The kitchen and dining room and living room are all open plan. The living room is large with full-height ceilings. We also have a modern pool-table which boys seem to love! Our garden is huge with a lovely setting for summer BBQs along with swing-chair etc. The sun is out until 10pm in summer and the views are spectacular from our raised site. Our family also owns another home on this website under property ID:8513. It is located 10min by car away.

Who we are

  1. I am Amy (Irish) and my husband is Michael (Australian). We really enjoy days spent walking along Brittas Bay, cycling, eating out, walking in the forest (on our doorstep!) and nights in by the fire enjoying our home-cinema or out in Dublin's thriving nightlife. Mike loves watching ALL sports on our sky plus surround sound TV set-up. We had our first home exchange Xmas 08/09 in Perth visiting family and it worked out very well. We are very trustworthy people and would do everything in our power to make your journey to Ireland a pleasant one! Please email us for further information.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our beautiful raised site (1 acre) overlooks the Wicklow mountains and the Irish Sea. The local village/town is Ashford (5min drive) and a further 10mins drive would get you to Wicklow town (south) or Greystones village (north). Here you can pick up our regular rail service (DART- Dublin Area Rapid Transit) to Dublin City Centre. Locally we have lots of good restaurants, hotels and bars. During the day, why not explore the local castles, jails, gardens eg: www.powerscourt.ie and www.mountushergardens.ie
