Wonderful and family friendly in central Reykjavík

If you want to send us an suggestion for home exchange, please do so. We have at the moment, no plans for the upcoming future, so every thing could be a nice suggestion.

Our home is very centrally located in the city of Reykjavik. Only 500 m from our home is a very nice green area, you will find Reykjavik´s largest outdoor swimming pool and there you will relax in outdoor temeprature in 8 warm pools around 39°- 41° all year round and a large Olympic-standard pool to swim in. There, in Laugardalur, is the only amusment park in the city; Fjolskyldu- og husdyragardurinn, sportshalls and iceskating hall.
In front of our house stops bus nr. 12, that will take you downtown in 3 min. Walking downtown will take you about 15 min. - only one street. In our garage we have Bikes for all of you.
From our balcony you have a beautiful view over the sea and you can watch the well known glacier Snæfellsjökull (Jules Verne´s, Journey to the center of the world).

From our home there are lovely cycle paths around the whole city:-)
