Our home

Of contemporary architecture and furnished accordingly, the house is mostly encased in glass and offers a wonderful view from almost everywhere. To the south can be seen the Lefka Ori mountain range while to the north the Aegean Sea. It is constructed in 5 levels which provide privacy to all parties inside. One bedroom is part of a seperate guest house that has its own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom. Overall, it is pleasant to say the least!

Property features

Who we are

  1. Sotiris is a biochemistry professor and Aglaia teaches art. We would like to exchange because we are parents to Joy, our 9-year-old daughter, and Nikola our 3 year-old son, and homes where children live and already have a couple of toys make travelling a lot easier and more comfortable than a cold hotel. Throughout the year, the villa is rented as a luxury vacation villa, but whenever vacant we would love to exchange and see new places. It is fully equipped for all ages! We are generally easygoing but appreciate cleanliness.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is located just the right distance from the centre of Chania, so that it is quiet but not too secluded. The beach is a 15min walk away, but the bus stop is right outside the house also. The neighbouring tavernas offer excellent traditional cuisine in quaint setting. For those that prefer to do their own cooking the neighbourhood has 2 grocery stores and a butcher shop at walking distance. Chania, which has been occupied by many civilisations throughout its history is called "Venice in Rugs", while Crete itself has been called the "Cradle of European Civilisation".
