Our home

Both actors for film, theatre and radio, we spend much time in our home working on plays and scripts and therefore our home is our haven.
We have privileged warmth, charm and comfort, and our ground floor home is filled with books and plants, the floors are wooden, it is full of light.
We take great care of it and would do the same in your home. We have exchanged once before and all went well.
We are the proud parents of a 2 year old child (girl) and she is willing to lend her room and toys to other tots.
One thing you should be aware of is that since Lou has arrived, we now sleep in the living room, leaving her the sole property of the large bedroom. Nevertheless, being particular about our own sleeping, we invested in a very comfortable sofa-convertible. Our backs needed that too...It's not the usual "click-clack" style.

Property features

Who we are

  1. As mentionned above, Jean-Pierre and I, Olivia, are both actors and we enjoy reading, music, the Arts at wide, travelling and meeting interesting people.
We have travelled quite a bit for work and leisure and are generally curious and open.
Our daughter Lou is accustomed to apartment living, and is not left to herself and I make sure she respects her surroundings. She is a very sociable little sprite and she also loves meeting new faces.

Your neighbourhood

A popular, simple quarter in Paris' 19th arrondissement, we have an open market twice a week right on our step, grocers, bakery, chemist, newspapers on our street.
Our neighbours are willing to help out if needed, cleaning can be arranged with a cleaning lady in our block, and our "gardienne" is there for any practicalities.
Public transport leads you into central Paris in 20 minutes (bus or metro one block away).
A 5 min. walk from one of Paris' most beautiful public gardens, "Les Buttes Chaumont", children will love it (playgrounds, roundabout, pony rides), you'll also be able to picnic by the stream that goes through it, or just amble through its sinuous and unconventional paths...
10 mins. away from the "Quai de la Loire", a lovely walk down the Seine, two very agreable riverside cinemas and cafés... A 10 min. walk from "Le Parc de la Villette", theatres, open-air concerts and films, exhibitions...
A half-hour direct bus ride from the "Pompidou Center" otherwise called "Beaubourg"...
For those of you who enjoy steam, I recently discovered a very charming Hammam close by where I regularly go for extra warmth and wonderful massages...
