Our home

Spacious and neat apartment just 15 minutes away from the city center and right next to a nature conservation area. Renovated in 2010 with light colors and ash parquet.

Amenities include TV, video projector, high-speed internet, washing machine, microwave oven. It's also possible to use the sauna located downstairs two times per week. The balcony offers an exceptional view to the city, to the nature conservation area with rich birdlife, and to the white nights of Finnish summer. There is a double bed (140cm), a sofa that can be extended into double bed, one kids bed and a guest mattress.

Who we are

  1. I'm a PhD researcher living with my spouse and our five year old son. We are looking for a location in Europe to travel in June-July 2015 with my friends who are a researcher/teacher family with five and seven year old girls. We would take care of your home as if it were our own.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is in a house built in 1950s in a nice and well respected suburb. Located conveniently just 300 meters from the metro station, there's also a big grocery store and smaller 24/7 grocery almost next door. Only 100 meters from the sea and a vast nature conservation area.. Great location for discovering Helsinki, its islands and neighboring towns. It's also possible to visit Stockholm by very cheap overnight ferries, do a day trip to Tallinn with some 40 euros per passenger, or take a visa free overnight ferry to St. Petersbourg.
