Our home

The house is a fairly new villa (build 2003) placed in a little village close to Kolding. This gives us the advantage of living in a quiet neighbourhood, and still only have a short distance to larger city close by (Kolding, Vejle and Fredericia). Our villa has 1 parents bedroom, 3 childrens rooms, and 2 bathrooms. It is all in one level, and it has one big area with kitchen, dining area and living room.

Who we are

  1. Our family consists of Jette (Mother, 50 - Teacher), Jens (Father, 57 - Web designer), and the kids Ditte (Girl, 16), Nanna (Girl, 13) and Lasse (Boy, 12). We have tried to exchange homes once before, and we think it is a great idea and look forward to try it again. We would like to visit Spain, Italy, Scotland, sunny Croatia, or anywhere else exciting and preferably warm - but we are open for suggestions.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Kolding is a nearby larger city with all kinds of shopping facilities and historical places like Koldinghus. Kolding is placed centrally in Denmark. Within a driving range of 2,5 hours you can reach even the far corners of Denmark, like Copenhagen (in the east) and Skagen (in the north). Aarhus is a 1 hour drive away, and Odense 45 min. Even Hamburg in Germany is only a 2,5 hour drive away. There are a lot of attractions in Jutland, like Legoland and Lalandia in Billund. There are good busconnections to Vejle and Kolding, from where you can go anywhere, but a car is recommended to get the most out of your vacation.
