Our home

Our beautiful and totally restored house lies in a big garden with lots of space. Inside there's everything you'll need regarding modern living - and all in a beautiful atmosphere of a classic building. There are two terraces with garden furniture and barbecue and a trampoline to use in the garden. We have a very good relationship with our neighbours - who will be able to help, if that's needed. Nearby there's all kind of shopping possibilities.

Who we are

  1. We're a family of five. The mother Helen is a lecturer at a University College in Aarhus. The father Steen is Head of Development at a further education school for danish and nordic journalists in Aarhus. The two older kids, Emil and Amanda (24 and 22) are students at the University in Aarhus and Oscar (12) is a schoolkid. Our interests are culture, sports and travelling - and a lot of other things... We have two cars and we would like to switch at least one of them with you.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in Randers, a beautiful town with a lot of historical buildings, a cultural house with museums and a famous zoo called "Randers Rainforest". Denmarks biggest river and the fiord of Randers is only 1 kilometre away from our home. Denmarks second largest city, Aarhus, is 30 min. driving away and Legoland in Billund is a good hours driving away. The beaches of the east cost is a half hours drive away and the beautiful west coast of Denmark is about an hours driving away. The village Skagen, famous for its painters (Krøyer and Ancher)is two hours away.
Finally it's possible to drive to our capitol Copenhagen in three and a half hour - on the way you'll cross the island Fyn, with the home of Hans Christian Andersen in Odense. In Billund and Aarhus there's connection with low cost airlines to a lot of european airports at fair prices.
