Our home

Please see pictures: http://home.gert.in. My new home is about 100 km. from Copenhagen. (About 1 hour drive by train or 1.5 hour by car). Very good train connection directly from inside CPH international airport to Korsør Station. From Korsør station there is a 6 min. walk to the house. The new house is very close to the big bridge to Fyn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Belt_Bridge). The house has an indoor heated swimming pool, all conveniences and all appliances. 3 bdr. 2 baths. Train station (To Copenhagen) 6 min walk. Nice sandy beaches 10 min. walk.

The most famous is Ellsinore castle (Kronborg Slot): http://www.3dphoto.net/world/topics/castles/denmark.html Shakespear's Hamlet (90 min.) Who we are

  1. I am Gert, an IT specialist with my own company. I sometimes travel with my son (Marc, born in 1984). We have done many home exchanges before and think it is a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. If you like to see more of Europe and not through tours, hotels and restaurants, then home exchange is the answer. I can assure you that we will of course respect and take good care of your home. I am a retired GM IT expert. We would expect to arrange an exchange several months in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how we best can facilitate your stay in the DK. If you have SKYPE we can talk and maybe see each other for free using the Internet.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is ideally located as a touring base. From Korsør town there is easy access to the cities of Copenhagen, Odense and Roskilde in around an hour and the tourist attraction of Elsinore (Shakespeare's Hamlet) in similar time. Trains run until the early hours of the morning so going to a Show or Dinner in Copenhagen is not a problem. If you are interested in knowing more about Denmark and the City of Korsør, you can visit the following links (all can be in English): www.visitkorsoer.dk/English/welcome.html www.denmark.dk www.visitdenmark.com www.europe-today.com/denmark/index.html
