Our home

My apartment is located in a classical building from the late 1800th century. The apartment is newly renovated in respect of the original architecture and decorated with a mixture of old and new furnitures from Danish and foreign designers. It is a non-smoker home. The apartment has wooden floors and it has a nice living room with cable television, dvd and Hi-Fi, a bright dining room adjacent to an open kitchen with all modern facilities. The bedroom has a double bed, cable television, dvd, Hi-Fi and computer. The apartment has wireless high speed Internet. The secured backyard has shared private facilities such as a terrace, BBQ, garden and a childrens playground.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is located in the charming and multicultural Noerrebroe. A bohemian neighbourhood with lots of trendy cafés, restaurants - among others a Michelin Star restaurant, bars and nightclubs. The appartment is in a walking distance to TIVOLI Gardens, the Little Mermaid, Nyhavn (New Haven)and other magnificent sights in Queens Copenhagen - do not be surprised if you see the crown prince and crown princess shopping in the department stores along the world famous pedestrian street Stroeget. Or you can explore wonderful Copenhagn on a bicycle - it is safe and the best way to get to know the city. Just like most Copenhageners do. Just around the corner from my apartment you will find the Assistens Cemetary were the fairyteller Hans Christian Andersen and philosopher Soeren Kirkegaard are buried among other famous Danes. The cemetary is also used as a park for recreation, jogging and sunbathing. From Copenhagen it is easy to catch the train and visit the northern part of Zealand were Hamlets Castle Kronborg is located. Or follow one of Zealands most picturesque drives north of Copenhagen to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art which is known for bringing art, nature and architecture together in a perfect harmony. If you fancy a day at the beach Copenhagen boasts with beaches within easy access. A 30 minutes ride with the train could also bring you to Sweden and Malmoe City - if you have any more time left.
