Our home

The apartment is furnished in a cosy and classical way including paintings, plaster figures, antique furnitures and books. The walls are painted in colours inspired from the English manorhouses. There is a lot of large windows which makes the apartment very well lit. Easy access to the green courtyard where you can have your breakfast or barbecue. Includes a playground for the children. Our daughter is seven and if you bring children yourself they can play Barbie, LEGO and princess or knight ;-)

Property features

Who we are

  1. Our family consists of Lars who is a police officer, Geske who is working in the Ministry of Finance and Livia who just turned 7 years. We love to travel and are looking foreward to show Livia the life in another European city. We enjoy living in the city and enjoys the local cafes, restaurants, museums and parks. In the weekends we often go to our summerhouse to enjoy the beach and walks in the woods. We would love to give you good ideas to what to experience in our city.

We have tried homeexchange once (Paris) - and are forward to more experiences :)

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Perfect for a relaxing city break/holiday... The apartment is placed in the part of Copenhagen called Østerbro where many of the embassies and large luxuary apartments are placed. From the apartment you look out on a big playground and on the squares in the neighbourhood you find cosy restaurants and bars - and a lot of lovely shops (clothing, food etc.). You are welcome to borrow our bikes including a 'family cargo bike' - or you can walk five minutes to both busses and train - both takes you to the center of Copenhagen in five minutes. You can also choose to bring your car. Østerbro is a very safe area and of our neighbours are also our all in all a nice place to stay if you want to explore beautiful Copenhagen...
