Our home

Our home is a lovely spacious apartment, located in a recently renovated building from the 1920's. The apartment has a modern look but has at the same time a very cosy and comfortable feel to it. There is a communal roof-top terrace with fantastic views of Copenhagen and the surrounding suburbs. indoor/ outdoor seating and a barbeque for the summer night dinners. The apartment also has a balcony which comfortably sits 4 people for dinner.

Who we are

  1. My name is Maria and my fiancee's name is Matthew. I am Danish and Matt is English who has luckily for me, chosen to live with me here in Copenhagen. I study law in the university of Copenhagen and Matt is a furniture designer by education and works in a furniture shop in Copenhagen. My parents and brother live in Copenhagen too and will be happy to help with any questions you might have while living in the apartment.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is located in the very famous area of Nyhavn, which is situated next to a canal and has lots of lovely restaurants - all the houses along Nyhavn date back to the 1700 century and the area is famous for its lovely atmosphere all year round. Within 5 mins walk is downtown copenhagen with an abundance of great boutiques, the Queens castle, home of the royal family of Denmark, restuarants, cafe's, and museums. The beach is only 15 minutes away by bus and there is plenty of opportunities for daily travels to other locations nearby - e.g. Helsingør with Hamlets castle Kronborg.
