Our home

We have putted much effort in turning our house into a lovely, comfortable, well equipped home. As artist Elisa has her own studio in our home. In 2006 we built a new dining room with huges windows and close contact with our large and nice garden with trees. Our garden is a place, where we love to relaxe. In the morning we enjoy having breakfast at the "South East" terrace and in the afternoon we move to the "South-West" terrace with a little waterbassin with small fishes. For us it's a joy to share our home with family and good friends, and we believe it can provide a good base for an excellent holiday in Denmark.

Who we are

  1. Nils (61) is working as a PR officer at a free Theological Faculty. Elisa (53) is an artist and has an atelier in our house. We love to go on holiday together, where we try to combine cultural life with outdoor sporty activities. We are people with a well developed sense of order. We are interested in hiking in the mountaines, go swimming in the sea (or a pool) and combine it with visiting a city.

Your neighbourhood

Den Gamle By - "The Old Town" - was founded in 1909 as the world's first open-air museum of urban history and culture. 75 historical houses from all over Denmark shape the contours of a Danish town as it might have looked in Hans Christian Andersen's days, with streets, shops, yards, homes and workshops.
Recently two new neighbourhoods are being built - from the 1920s and 1970s. Furthermore 'Den Gamle By' consists of several museums and exhibitions.
Within an hour you can reach exciting places like LEGOLAND and "Løveparken" - Lionpark, Givskud ZOO by car, and within 1,5 hours you reach Odense, where you can visit Hans Christian Andersens house.
