Our home

La Villa lies on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, overlooking the Dalmatian coast, islands, and nestled in Lopud renaissance harbour. Staying at La Villa is an idyllic 'get away' experience. This small hotel has the beach at its front door and the island's botanic garden in its backyard. Lopud is peaceful refuge without cars and other chaos of urban life.

The foundations of La Villa date back to the 16th century, while its present form originated in 1862. The building was renovated in the 1980s, and all rooms were newly appointed in the 2004 winter season, giving La Villa its characteristic, calm and contemporary flair.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Lopud is located 7,5 NM from Dubrovnik and getting there takes about one hour by ferryboat, or thirty minutes by speedboat. There are up to 6 lines daily, operated by the public company Jadrolinija. The number of daily connections increases during the summer season.

Ferries depart from Gruz harbour in Dubrovnik and stop first at Kolocep (another Elaphiti island), after which they cruise to nearby Lopud.

Lopud is also called as a paradise island.
