Completely wheelchair accessible beautiful home on a dead end street, one block from the ocean and picturesque walks along the sea front with classic Pacific Northwest views of the Georgia Straight and the Olympic Mountain Range.

Our 1912 home was architecturally renovated almost ten years ago to accommodate wheelchair access but is in no way institutional. The result is a pleasant spacious floor plan with heritage details.
Main Floor: Kitchen (opening onto backyard patio), Dining, Living Room (with home theater), Den, Bathroom and Master bedroom, Utility (with front loading washer, dryer), attached garage
Second Floor: Open office, Playroom, Bedrooms 2,3,4 , bathroom
Third Floor: Open sitting room, Guest Bedroom and bathroom

Who we are

  1. We are a family of five with three children attending the local and excellent elementary school (French Immersion and English) .9km away an easy walk up the hill. I am Kim the “mum” who is looks after our three children ages 11, 7, 4. The eldest children enjoy reading (local libraries are important), cycling, piano, soccer, and swimming. Our eldest would be keen to pursue her competitive swimming aspirations while we are away in France so we would love to find them both a place to swim.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The Fairfield area of Victoria is known for being close to the sea and main city park, and full of heritage homes. People often walk from here to down town and own no cars. Or children walk an easy .9km to school everyday and groceries, speciality shopping can easily reached on foot, too. There is an excellent bus route a half block away that is wheel chair accessible and takes bicycles too.
In addition to being the capitol of British Columbia with an excellent museum, library, university and host of cultural activities, Victoria is a very outdoors-oriented city. We have plenty of hiking in the many regional parks and cycling routes (along the Galloping Goose trail), and SAILING (we even have a well run disabled sailing association here as well as a disabled ski club at the local ski hill, Mt Washington).
