Our home

There are 3 bedrooms, one queen size bed, one double and one twin all with comfortable bedding and lots of room to store your clothes. The 400 sq games room has a gas fireplace, an air hockey table, a pull-out couch and lots of room to stretch out and watch the TV, enjoy a DVD or listen to music.

The 300 sq foot deck is like an extension of our home and a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or to leisurly sip your coffee in the morning. The setting is very lush and green and offers privacy from the neighbours.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We have two wonderful children, ages 12 and 16 and we are excited about sharing with them another part of the world. Wayne is a mathematics teacher at one of the local high schools, and Karen works part-time with the City of Richmond. We usually enjoy our summers at one of the lakes in B.C., but are looking forward to a new experience for the summer of 2007.

Ideally we are looking for 2 or 3 two week exchanges in either Italy, France or Spain.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Richmond is a small island surrounded by the Fraser River and just minutes to Vancouver. Our home is centrally located to many of the locations recognized throughout the world. Whistler, Vancouver and Vancouver Island. We are within walking distance of the small village of Steveston with local bakeries, grocer, coffee bars and restaurants. Just 10 minutes from the Vancouver Airport, 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver and 30 minutes from the USA border, it is easy to visit all the places on your 'must see' list. The road to Whistler is easily accessible and is a scenic 2 hours by car. The ferries to Vancouver Island are just a short distance and bus transportation is very accessible to wonderful shopping in both Richmond and Vancouver. There are a number of beaches within 30 minutes by car.
