Our home

Our home is in the old, well treed Kingsway area of Toronto with transit close by. This is an urban area with fine restaurants a ten minute walk away, and downtown Toronto is a 20 minute subway ride. The house is a century old three-storey farmhouse with three bedrooms and bathroom on second floor, and a large bedroom/ studio area with kingsize bed on the third floor. The main floor has a family room/ kitchen overlooking the back garden, a living/ dining room with a large entrance hall and piano, and a front porch overlooking the front garden. The basement has a large carpeted room, laundry room, full bathroom w/shower and a workshop.

Who we are

  1. We are a professional retired couple who like to sail in the summer months on Lake Ontario. We have a cottage about 2.5 hours drive from the city which may be part of the exchange. We are open to all offers, but would prefer somewhere warm in a small village close to amenities, yet sufficiently rural to allow for hikes in the countryside.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This is one of the prime areas close to downtown Toronto with access to the many facilities that the city has to offer. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet and quite rural close to the Humber river, despite being close to the city.
