Our home

My home is a nicely decorated, 1 bedroom apartment with excellent access to public transportion (bus and street car within a one minute walk and subway 2km away.) There is a nice view of the CN Tower (10 km away) and Lake Ontario (less than 1 km away). The apartment receives a great deal of sunlight but comes accompanied with good blinds, of course, if you don't like this. It has central heating and air conditioning with controls in the unit. The building is very calm, with a grocery store and other stores 1 minute from the building. The property has a beautiful garden with gazebo, herb garden for the use of the residents, 24 hour concierge, weight/cardio room, sauna, whirlpool, library, pool room, music room, etc. The apartment and condo building are in excellent condition and the apartment was freshly painted and furnished less than four years ago. The apartment features a piano, dining room table, usual audiovisual equipment such as VCR, DVD, stereo, computer with high speed internet access, etc.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The building is located in the relaxed and desirable neighbourhood known as "The Beach". While downtown Toronto (and its many cultural attractions) is only a street car ride away (or a short drive) the neighbourhood is tranquil with many beautiful homes, trees, nature trails, etc. There are sandy beaches a kilometer away and trails which go along the lake shore which are great for running, roller blading, cycling, etc. There are also many small family run stores selling a wide variety of items in the neighbourhood. Car exchange and accomodation near Niagara Falls (1.5 hours away by car from Toronto) for a night or two might also be possible as part of this exchange.
