Our home

Our home is located in the suburb of Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa. We offer a comfortable, spacious and clean home with a large kitchen, adjoining dining room, living room, family room, recreation room, and 4 large bedrooms. A deck overlooks a fenced back yard with swings and bbq.

The house is located at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac. We have two young girls so there will be bikes, scooters, and toys available.

Our home is within walking distance of an outdoor community pool, tennis courts, grocery store, pharmacy, banks, a local pub, and other small businesses. Blackburn Hamlet has a series of walking/cycling trails and parks. This is an ideal community and home for families with children.

Who we are

  1. We are James and Allison, a married couple with two girls aged 4 and 8. James is a high school chemistry teacher, who lived near Manchester for 3 years as a child. We have not done a home exchange before but see this as an ideal way for the family to spend time in the UK. We would like to arrange our exchange in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email and finalise plans.
