Our home

Our house is a 3 bedroom home with an in-law suite in the basement which includes a small 4th bedroom. On the main floor we have a livingroom, childrens' playroom, 2-piece bathroom, and a large kitchen and eating area. On the upper level we have 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We also have a familyroom with a t.v. and computer on this level. In the finished basement there is an in-law suite with a small bedroom, a full bathroom and a large room which includes another kitchen. We use this space as a playroom right now. We have a queen size bed, double bed and 2 twin beds...as well as a baby crib.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of 5. Erin and Russ work for the Canadian government although Erin is on leave to care for our children; 4, 2, and 8 months.
We would love a home swap this spring of about a month or less. We are also very flexible in planning the next year of travel plans.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is really well located for getting around Canada's capital city by car, bus or bike. We live 6 kms from downtown, the parliament buildings, and most of the regions' many museums. Our area links up to scenic parkways and bike trails which run through Ottawa. The Ottawa region has lots of beautiful outdoor spaces to explore and many great activities available for individuals and families. Including the worlds largest outdoor skating rink (which is generally open for skating most of January and February, weather permitting).
Ottawa is about 2 hours west of Montreal and 4.5 hours east of Toronto.
