Property features

Who we are

  1. Andrea and Lars: We are in our mid fifties, semi-retired, with grown children. We are ardent travellers and experienced house exchangers since 2006. We love the concept of getting to know someone else's favorite corner of the world by staying in their home and neighborhood. To us,the spirit of house exchanging is that we all treat each other's home with the same respect that we treat our own. We have had nothing but positive experiences.

We enjoy the outdoors:-skiing,golf,hiking,exploring,sailing,the beach. Since our cottage is a seasonal second home, exchanges do not have to be simultaneous

The cottage is one of five at the end of a private lane, so privacy and quiet are ensured. All amenities are available in New Glasgow,a town of 10,000 about 10 km away. There are 3 golf courses, parks, hiking trails and beautiful sand beaches close by. Easy 1-2 day trips can be done to Cape Breton (Cabot Trail), Prince Edward Island (25 minutes to the ferry) and the capital city of Halifax (160km).
