Our home

I live in a very spacious an beautiful 7-room apartment located in a quiet area in the heart of Montreal. There are 2 bedrooms (double beds) a relaxing and sunny Boudoir; a living/tv room; a dining room; a fully equipped and large kitchen; and a study. The whole apartment has wooden floors, is located on the ground floor and is furnished with a lot of antique furniture. There is also a BBQ in the backyard, hundreds of CDs, DVDs and books, NAD/BW surround soud system, high-speed Internet and a scary basement (just kidding!!). I work from home, so I do all I can to make my place inviting, warm, peaceful and relaxing.

Who we are

  1. My name Marc, I am 39, working from home as a freelance translator. Because I work mostly on long term contracts, I am free to take my laptop and work anywhere in the world. I am always open for traveling. So make me an offer that I cannot refuse!
I would love to visit Rome, or Croatia, or Buenos Aires. NY, Boston, Chicago or the West US coast would also be nice for a week or a long weekend. Anywhere else would be nice also...
Also, I have a guestroom, so I can offer a place to stay in Montreal, for 2 persons.
Finally, I just love travelling, so if you think about coming to Montreal and exchange your home, Let me know!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

I live in a district called Petite Patrie, located just north of the very fashionable Plateau Mont-Royal, and about 20 minutes from downtown. Montreal is a great city to visit (historic district, several great festivals (Jazz, Comedy, Fireworks, Movie) and so many other great cultural events). The nightlife is absolutely amazing (if you're into it!) and so is the infinite choice of restaurants and shopping opportunities. The mix of French and English cultures gives Montreal its unique charm.
Montreal is also a good homebase for visiting the historical town of Quebec City, the Estern Townships region, or you are a fan of fresh air and nature, the Laurentians and Apalachians mountains are a short drive away, offering an array of activities for the whole family.
Well, I hope that I made you curious about my city!!!
