Our home

We offer a lovely, quiet, non-smoking three bedroom apartment on the ground floor. As well as the three bedrooms, our bright and spacious apartment includes a large living room where two people can sleep comfortably and an intimate reading room where one person can sleep if additional beds are required. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen with adjoining dining room. The deck overlooks a fenced back yard. To facilitate your longer excursions, a car is also available, or, if you prefer, the subway is not far away.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of four: dad, Hubert, mom, Catherine, daughters Sarah (12) and Sophie (9) who are looking for a house in a warm climate to escape the winter for two weeks during the Christmas holidays this year (2006). This will be our first home exchange. We all enjoy travelling and exploring new places, new sensations and new foods.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Located on a quiet and picturesque street in the Plateau Mont-Royal district of Montreal, our apartment is near to just about everything. The "Plateau" is a lively neighbourhood where restaurants, bars and small European-style food stores abound. We are a short walk to the subway and to one of the trendiest and most pleasant streets to shop or enjoy the windows-St-Denis. Come and partake in the many festivals for which Montreal is now known. If you wish to enjoy some outdoor activities, we are about a 1 hours drive to excellent downhill ski hills. Cross-country skiing and skating can be done in parks as close as 10 minutes away.
