Our home

We have a nice renovated duplex with three rooms. Our house is near the Des Prairies River and our garden open on a beautiful park with children area and nice walks to do. We have a pool and a terrace in the garden. It is located 20 minutes from downtown Montreal. There is a main spacious bedroom and two bedrooms for the kids. The extra beds are folding beds. We love to have some friends at home, it is really warm and comfortable. We have a Mazda Protege 5 with a skibox on the roof and bicycle rack. Our bicycle are available.

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located just few kilometers from Montreal, one of Canada largest cities. Montreal is a modern city with all kind of interest as museum, fine restaurant, bars and night life. The Botanical Garden is also well known for its beauty. Festivals are succeeding all summer in Montreal. It is a good way to enjoy many activities and night life. Visiting the Old Montreal, do a picnic on the Mont Royal or just take a walk in the different areas of the city to see the special architecture is also recommended.
Lavalers are used to go in the agricultural zone to pick up fruits and vegetables. The end of summer is the best season for this kind of activities. It is difficult to imagine that Laval is the second biggest city of Province of Quebec when we are in the middle of the country side. For those who love taste regional food, do not miss the “Balade Gourmande” held in August. Great chefs from fine restaurant prepare delicious receipes with the fresh products of each market gardener. Even though the fruits and vegetables are honoured, wine, goat cheese and honey are also represented. The Thousands Islands Park rents canoës. Everyone will enjoy a picnic in one of the islands after a rallye in canoë.
If you are interested to know more about the colonization of the New France, Terrebonne will be a nice place to visit. The magnificient Laurentians are also less than one hour drive to our home having lot of hiking to do and many other outdoor activities.
