Our home

We have a spacious bright comfortable home which is located centrally in the city of Kingston.
The house is larger inside than appears from the street. It is situated on a corner lot with two fenced side yards. We are in a very friendly family neighbourhood which is 40 years old with many mature trees. Geographically our area is the centre of Kingston.
We have five bedrooms, three on the top floor and two on the bottom floor. A wonderful dining room and comfortable living room border a roomy kitchen area. We would include one car and four bicycles as well as a canoe. Optional summer cottage may be considered depending on timing.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Kingston was the first capital of Canada situated on historic Lake Ontario at the mouth of the St Lawrence River. In the summer it is alive with music, theatre, arts and many festivals. Kayaking, hiking, canoeing and beaches are a few of the attractions. There are many ship wrecks off the shores of Kingston which make it a destination for scuba divers.Fort Henry, a national historic site at the entrance to the Rideau Canal, is a major tourist attraction. A conservation area is a two minute drive away, while the beaches are a 3 minute drive or ten minute bike ride to the downtown area. Kingston is a city of 115,000 with great shopping and so many restaurants no one cooks! Kingston is 2.5 hours from Toronto, 2 from Ottawa and 2.5 from Montreal by car and train.
