Our home

Enjoy all the comforts of home as well as an incredible view from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room and the 900 sq. ft deck. Quiet, but only 1 block from the quaint shops and fine restaurants of historic Rossland. This property is run as a vacation property and comes equipped with every convenience to make your stay comfortable. Most of the house is on one level and it is child friendly. It is across the street from the turn-of -the-century courthouse and armories. We do not allow pets for the benefit of guests with allergies, however three resident cats are available, in outdoor areas, to oblige you. For a better look, go to the website.

Your neighbourhood

In the late 1800's, Rossland was base for the second largest gold strike in North America. This rich history is still everywhere, but the town, of only 3700, is recently more famous as home to more Olympic medal skiers than any other place in Canada. Nessled in the Monashee Mountains, the lifestyle here is relaxed, the air is fresh and the population friendly and eclectic. There is also a large Francophone population. The area surrounding town has 200 Km of marked hiking and mountain biking trails. There are also lift serviced mountain biking at Red Resort 5 Km from town. Fishing, birding and wildlife viewing are excellent and the opportunities to explore this most pristine area of British Columbia are endless. An open tennis club and outdoor swimming pool are only blocks away. A beach or mountain lake only are only a 15 min drive away.
