Our home

Our house is on a 1 acre treed lot, and is large, with an open concept kitchen/dining/living room, three good size bedrooms, a playroom, an upstairs office and a library. It is comfortable with all modern appliances, 3 bathrooms, laundrey room and an attached double-car garage. It is the perfect house for a family as it offers congenial, sunny common spaces as well as enough rooms for privacy and time alone. The deck off the kitchen offers a tranquil retreat to enjoy your morning coffee or to barbeque the evening meal.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of four. Keith and Linda work for the federal government and the two girls (ages 8 and 10) attend the local school. We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and spend our summers camping, hiking and biking together. We also enjoy the urban amenities of nearby Ottawa. Great.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are located on a friendly, rural cul-de-sac in the village of Chelsea, unique in that it offers the best of both urban culture, shopping etc and easy access to the great Canadian outdoors.

Chelsea is only 12 minutes drive to Canada's capital, Ottawa and 2 hours from vibrant Montreal. The shopping, galleries, museums, Parliament Buildings are at your doorstep. As well, we are only 1 km away from a beautiful national park (Gatineau Park) renowned for it's hiking and mountain-biking trails, pristine lakes, swimming and camping. We are also very close to the Gatineau River and numerous lakes where you can swim, sail, kayak and canoe. This is a Canadian experience not to be missed!

The weather here in July and August is typically very warm and sunny.
