Our home

Comfortable 4 bedroom home overlooking the inside passage to Alaska. All the conveniences including barbecue, internet, rec room for the kids and a trampoline out back. Well equipped kitchen adjoining patio with furniture. Master bedroom has en suite and a deck also with ocean view. The living room has excellent views of the sea and our neighborhood family of eagles. And you will find the hot tub is really relaxing. I think most will find our home spacious and well suited for their needs. I know I'm grateful every time I drive into my home.

Who we are

  1. Jennifer, 36, is a teacher who works in a local middle school. Jenn leads a very busy life between work and family which explains why I am writing this add.

Brett is 10, loves animals and is curios about everything I expect one day either he will be a Vet or a Biologist.

Bryce, 6, is a bit of a dynamo. When he is not scoring goals on the soccer field he's speed reading or practicing his Karate on me.

As for me, I'm Mark, 37, its fair to say I'm the more travelled of the family. When I was a sailor I was in the Mediterranean for 4 months loved it and vowed to travel more. Today in my grown up life I'm a industrial Mechanic and sometimes go away for extended periods. The good news is I have more freedom than most and if I want I can take the time I want off. So Jenn and I decided no more talk lets get on with seeing some more of the world.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in one of Campbell Rivers nicer neighborhoods and the neighbors are friendly. Its a 7 minute drive or 20 minute bicycle ride along the sea walk to downtown Campbell River which is a community of 25,000.
Campbell River is on north-Central Vancouver Island (Voted #1 island to visit in North America again by Conde Nast traveller). During the summer the "Island" has a comfortable climate and many things to see and do. Walk the beaches and watch the seals and sea lions play or you can take a Grizzly Bear or whale watching tour to the mainland inlets, you can swim the river and observe salmon or hike in the alpine of Strathcona park only 40 Min's away. Victoria is a 3.5 hour drive and the inner harbour is beautiful or try a trip to world famous long beach in Pacific Rim National park. If salmon or halibut fishing interests you their are many boat rentals or guides available, after all we are the salmon capital of the world. There is also good scuba diving nearby including a destroyer sunk as a artificial reef, or try one of our caving sites. Campbell River has everything you need and we have some excellent restaurants and native art galleries. The local lakes are a nice temperature for swimming and a great way just to relax and picnic. We consider ourselves lucky to live where we live, So why don't you come and see for yourselves.
