Our home

Ideal for singles, couples, or families with one or two older children.

My Calgary townhouse has an open concept main floor with hardwood throughout. The large, modern kitchen with all appliances has a breakfast bar eating area opening onto the adjoining dining room. Sunken living room features gas fireplace and a 43" big screen TV with DVD and Home Theatre, as well as digital cable that allows for movies on demand. Central air conditioning ensures a comfortable climate year round. The backyard consists of a large, west-facing deck with BBQ and recycling centre. Smoking outside only.

The large, bright master bedroom has tons of closet and storage space. The second bedroom has a single bed, as well as equipment to double as an exercise room. The third bedroom has been converted to a library/office, but has queen size futon that easily folds out to comfortably sleep two. This room also has a desktop computer with broadband internet which includes a WiFi enabled router so that wireless access to the internet is available to your laptop anywhere in the house, including on the deck. All bedrooms have cable television.

Private parking is located in front of the house. Car exchanges will be considered. My 2003 Mini Cooper comfortably seats 2 adults upfront with room for 2 more people in the back seat.

  1. I am a 34 year old single professional, who most likely will be traveling alone but may sometimes tour with another single female. I work full time as a Health Care Manager, and have a passion for books and wine as well as exploring new places. I am open to traveling almost anywhere, but am particularly keen to visit Africa, South America, Asia or any wine producing region.

My townhouse is located in a quiet, suburban neighborhood with shopping, restaurants and parks within walking distance. With public transit close by, it is easy to access Calgary’s shopping, downtown night life and restaurants and the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" during the annual Calgary Stampede Exhibition and Rodeo in July.

A car is highly recommended as Calgary is ideally located as a touring base. The Canadian Rockies are less than an hour's drive away, with Banff, Lake Louise the Columbia Ice Fields and other natural attractions making for ideal day trips. Also located within an hours drive is Drumheller’s Dinosaur Valley which is best known as the home of the world class Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology.

Calgary also features Canada's longest web of continual paths, totaling 460 km, which are only one block away from my home. These pathways connect you to many other major attractions such as the Eau Claire Market, Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park, Canada Olympic Park and the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary.
