Property features

Who we are

  1. Retired university history professor (Brian) and retired education administrator (Sandra). We are avid readers, researchers, and travellers, having spent many years travelling in England, France, and other countries. Brian spends much of his time researching/writing books; Sandra is his research assistant and a keen amateur genealogist, as well as a passionate gardener. Both are involved in various volunteer activities in their community and church. We have been successfully involved in home exchanges for the past 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of our hosts/guests, with whom we continue to correspond. We prefer small places/villages and love to explore museums, churches, cemeteries, art galleries, country lanes, small shops but are open to new experiences! Sept/Oct in Nova Scotia is warm and very beautiful, with autumn colour just beginning in late Sept. An excellent time to travel in this province (with the bonus of reduced air fares off-season!) We usually do NOT travel in July/Aug and prefer to travel in Sept/Oct but would consider a spring exchange. More details on request.
