Our home

Our home is a hundred years old, but has just been renovated. We own the top half of the house and have very friendly neighbours. The house has two terraces and is very quiet. We have two very large bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower and bath. A third room hasn't been renovated yet so can't be used. The living room and kitchen are brand new. They are located in the former attic, so you have a view over the rooftops. A big sliding door offers acces to the terrace. Temperatures in summer are excellent thanks to massive insulation. You will be very comfortable here! Be prepared to take your groceries up to the third floor!

Property features

Who we are

  1. My wife and I are both teachers. We like traveling very much, but there are still a lot of countries and regions we haven't been to. Unfortunately, we can only exchange houses during summer holidays(july-august) because of our jobs. Christmas holidays are also a possibility. We are very adventurous people and like natural environments. Home exchange is a good opportunity for us because it takes us a long time to save up for holidays. We respect other people's property as much as our own and hope we will find other swappers are of the same opinion!!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Antwerp offers everything really: walking distance(5 min): museums(3), public transportation, supermarkets(4), banks(6), restaurants(too much to count), the Schelde and a lot more. Train: Amsterdam, Eindhoven,Delta works(The Netherlands), Ghent( my home city= fabulous), Bruges, Brussels... You can also take a trip to the south of the country to visit the hills of Wallonië. The north of France is also closeby(Paris, Brest, Lille...)The best time to visit Belgium and surrounding countries is July and August( summer time)
