Our home

We call it Monkey Junction. You may catch a glimpse of monkeys on the back fence as they pass through to a near by mango tree. It is located on Barbados' "gold coast" about 150 yards to the sea. The house offers 3 bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms, each sleeps 2 people. The large great room is open to the kitchen, bar, dining area and two verandas. Each room has large, high volume ceiling fans, the cool Barbadian breeze along with the fans keep you very comfortable.
The West Coast is home to many wonderful beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. There is shopping with in walking distance for anything from groceries, gifts, and duty free.
The island is beautiful and historic, it offers cultural and social activities far beyond the rest of the Caribbean.
We have owned the house for nearly 20 years and have had countless family adventures and memories. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house sits on a small cul-du-sac in a community named Sunset Crest. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful and are lifelong bajans. The neighborhood is lush with coconut palms, fruit trees and flowers everywhere.
Barbados is a coral island, and the reef comes right up to the shore nearest us and provides terrific snorkeling above the coral and two sunken bardges that attract hundreds of species of fish. 200 yards To the South is Sandy Lane Beach and beyond it is Paynes Bay (swim with the turtles)each magnificent. As you walk on the board walk north there are several smaller beaches with beach front restaurants and bars all the way to Holetown.
We always rent a car because there are hundreds of beaches, restaurants and historical site to visit and explore.
