The apartment is in a traditional viennese building and has high ceilings, wooden floors, large doors and windows. We renovated it about 3 years ago. The flat is situated in the 3rd floor, you can easily reach it by an elevator. The rooms are spacious and bright. There is one bedroom with a king size bed and a children/ guest room with child bed and two guest bed (70 x 210, kind of tatami). The comfortable study/living room has a couch that can give sleeps for 2. The kitchen with dining place, is fully equipped and has a very nice view: for people who really love to cook. In the bathroom there's a huge walking in shower: 150 x 90 cm. Small terrace from spring 2011 on. The furniture is very special: it's a selection of modern and contemporary design!
We are an austrian - Italian family of 3. My husband is an art historian and I'm an architect: we both work as free-lance. We have an adorable baby who is 8 months old. Our home has been renovated with much love for details and interiors: we take care of it with much attention. We are both very responsible persons and we shall naturally take care of any person's house with the same great respect. We would love to spend 3-5 weeks - june or november 2009 - in New York and Chicago for research. We love discover new places, new cultures, we hope to receive interesting offers!
Our district is the seventh district of Vienna and has always been the home of craftsmen and artists. There are many small shops and restaurants to visit, a lot of young people live here.Once outside the building you will find yourself in a busy neighbourhood. You can get everyday fresh bred, newspapers and everything else in a small supermarket. Ten minutes walking distance to the Inner City and to many museums: you definitly don't need a car here. Bus- and subwaystation are close by. From Vienna you can easly visit other european capitals: Bratislava (1 hour), Budapest (3 hours), Prag (4 hours), Lubjana (4 hours).
