Our home

Our home is located on the 2nd floor of a 4 storey apartment block (built in 1996). Our apartment has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a single bed. The second bedroom also contains a desk, where David works. There is a big living room with kitchen, dining table with 4 chairs, a sofa, TV and stereo and a second working desk where Anita works. Our furniture is a mix of beautiful pieces from the beginning of the 20th century and modern elements. Throughout the apartment are timber boards on the floor. We have a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet. We have central heating in our apartment and double glassed windows, which makes it nice and warm also in winter.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple and currently live in Vienna. David, 38, is from Sydney, Australia and is a marketing manager for a building products company. He is currently doing an MBA in Vienna. Anita, 27 is from Vienna and studies environmental management in Vienna. We love hiking, music, exploring new places, good food and sitting in a cafe reading.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The location of our apartment is great for exploring Vienna. 15 min walk to St. Stephan's Cathedrale, 7 min walk to the opera and the Ring, 1 min walk to Naschmarkt, 3 min walk to Vienna's biggest shopping street (Mariahilfer Straße). About 10 min walk is the Museumquarter, with museums and cafes to explore. The next underground is 2 min away (takes you to Schönbrunn in 15 min). There are lots of little bars and cafes around, whichever direction you walk from here and three supermarkets are within a few minutes walk. The area is safe (as is Vienna in general), also at night time. Off the beaten track you will find some cool little shops around here. We are happy to help you out with recommendations where to go.
