Our home

We live in a small apartment (around 60 m2) in the small village of Umhausen, Austria. The apartment sleeps four (one double bedroom, one kids room with bunk beds), and also has an open kitchen-living area. The kitchen is fairly new and includes all modern appliances such as toaster, blender, dishwasher, microwave, fridge etc. There is a shared washing machine in the cellar. For the cold months we have a beautiful stone oven that heats the whole house with wood. Umhausen is a small town with good public transport access, two supermarkets, a post office, school and kindergarten. It is a great base for holidaying or working in Innsbruck. This simple apartment is perfect for families or couples wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Tirolean Alpine region!

Who we are

  1. We're a couple with two daughters aged 1 and 3.

  2. Eliza works as a climate scientist and Franz as a language assessment researcher.

  3. We love the outdoors, our cat, and a nice drink in the evening (beer for us and oat milk for the kids).
