Our home

We live in a sunny and quiet apartment located in a very safe area even at night.
Our living room has a sofa, desk, piano and HIFI, Highspeed-Internet is provided. There is a children's room with a swing, a bedroom with king-sized bed, a dining room, a new kitchen (no dishwasher), a bathroom with a tub, a separate toilet and a hall. There is a wooden floor and the style is typical Austrian late 19th century with high ceilings.
Our home has a nice 60m2-terraced garden; you might be able to harvest some fruits/vegetables we planted. There is much to explore for kids outside.

House exchange is a new experience for us, and we believe it's a great thing.

Your neighbourhood

The neighbours are very nice, English-speaking, open-minded and some have kids themselves.
The picturesque historical part of Krems reminds of medieval Italian cities and is good for shopping, visiting coffee-shops, fine restaurants, „Heurige“ (wine!) and museums and galleries.
Everything is within walking distance, including the railway which will take you to Vienna in under an hour or to Salzburg in 3 hours.
We live close to the vineyards and to the Danube. It's possible to undertake long-distance bike trips along the riverside and you are welcome to use our bikes while you are here. Playgrounds and a public swimming pool are nearby. The climate is sunny and warm - the way grapes like it.
