Our home

Ours is a 3 year old Western Red Cedar high-set home set atop a 60 acre granite mountain. In a quiet rural setting overlooking the town of Stanthorpe, a sleepy wine producing town in Queensland's South. Modern, neat and tidy. It features a huge deck with outdoor hot tub. Our property, although quite close to town has plenty of wildlife including Kangaroos, Koalas, Echidnas, Kookabarras, Ducks etc. We also have an Ocean-Front Penthouse on Queensland's Sunshine Coast and would offer a week there under the right circumstances.

Who we are

  1. Our names are Trevor and Joanne, 39 and 37. We have 4 children, Madison 11, Connor 9, Austin 7 and Harris 4. We are prominent local business people with businesses in Stanthorpe, Warwick and at the Sunshine Coast. We have never done a home-excange before but love Canada and North America and have fond memories of our honeymoon in Banff and New England. We all love the snow and skiing and are keen to experience a white Christmas like a resident would.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Stanthorpe is a very peaceful, virtually crime-free rural township. It is now emerging as one of Australia's most promising wine districts with a rapidly growing winter tourist trade. Stanthorpe is also well known as a region producing fruit and vegetables, beef, lamb and some of the world's finest wool. Stanthorpe sits near the top of the Great Dividing Range at an elevation of about 2400ft featuring cold winters and mild summers.
