Our home

Our home is located in a delightful, quiet area near the edge of the Toowoomba escarpment; it is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. The garden is very pleasant and there are many birds around. We often have breakfast on the terrace on sunny winter mornings.

Who we are

  1. We are Mike and Annette, a well-travelled, fit and active retired couple. We have lived in many places and homes during our 46 years of marriage. We are very careful of others'property. We have an adult daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren who live in Brisbane. Travelling is one of our favourite things, we also enjoy walking and country pursuits. I am a keen genealogist and also enjoy photography. We have done hospitality exchanges before but not home exchanges - we would like to spend several months in England in 2007 with perhaps a month at various locations, or could consider longer. In particular we love Devon/Cornwall region, Cotswolds, Lake District - but in fact any of your glorious countryside appeals to us so we would like to make contact with anyone who is interested in our part of Queensland. A vehicle may be available also - this would be open to discussion.
