Our home

We love living here because we can start the day in the sun on the verandah and at night watch magnificent sunsets. Its a tradition to walk around the garden in the late afternoon to check the fruit trees and plants and let the dogs have a swim in the dam. Then one of us heads to the great kitchen (and walk in pantry) to cook. We have a lovely sun room with slow combustion for winter and great airflow through very pretty windows for the warmer days. There are lovely views from every window.

Who we are

  1. We are two women on a big adventure to try Tasmania as our new home and want to see if we (and our two short haired dogs) can survive the cold (and snow). I'm Susan and I've worked in the arts and education and am about to run a community base dorganisation in Hobart and partner Wendy is a community and childrens worker with a circus back ground and foreground.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ours is a little country town 30 mins from the life of Noosa and Hastings Street. Its very pretty here and the community is a warm and friendly caring one with great home made jams and cakes at every jumble sale. Its a short drive to waterfalls, country towns, and beautiful beaches and the best supermarket in the world!
