Our home

We welcome you to our comfortable home which is bright and sunny and open planned. Located in a private estate with lakes and parks. Under a 10 minute drive to either Perth city or the beaches of Scarborough or Triggs. The main lounge overlooks the back of the property and the covered alfresco area which is fully equipped with a gas barbecue and comfortable dining setting, our favourite entertaining spot throughout the year. The main lounge has a flat screen TV with DVD recorder and comfortable seating in which to relax in the evenings. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the formal dining area for those few evenings when it is too cold to sit outside. In addition there is a formal lounge at the front of the house. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk in robe and en-suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a double bed with built in robes, and en-suite access to the second bathroom. We have converted the 3rd bedroom into our study which is equipped with computer and printer. The laundry has separate access to the washing line and terrace garden. Polished blackbutt flooring throughout the main living areas is warm and inviting, with wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms, formal lounge and study.

Who we are

  1. We are Sandy and Alistair, a retired professional couple in our mid to late sixties. We have lived in Perth over 35 years, having come from England, where we still have family and friends that we visit on a regular basis. Our lifestyle includes golf, walking, fishing, gardening, entertaining our friends, and enjoying the multicultural restaurants that abound in Perth. We are very keen travellers and enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures and places. We hope that like minded people will enjoy staying in our home. We are always open to consider any offers including non-reciprocal exchanges, and will always respond to your enquiry.

Perth with its population of 1.8 million, lies on the Indian Ocean with a climate that facilitates a great outdoor style of life. It has all the infrastructures of cities like Sydney and Melbourne, without the crowds and is a hidden gem waiting to be found. Our home is located in the suburb of Stirling, near the popular beaches of Scarborough, Trigg and Northbeach, which are a 10 to 15 minute drive away. We are in a quiet private estate, with lovely parks and lakes, yet within a 5 minute drive to 2 excellent shopping centres, a cinema complex and wide variety of restaurants, with good access to buses, trains and the freeway.
