Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Helen and Mark and we have 2 young children Rachael and Breanna. We are a professional couple working in health and community services. We enjoy managing our property and maintaining a large flower and vegetable garden. We moved here 10 years ago to enjoy the peace of a rural lifestyle and to be near great beaches and fine local produce.

As a family we enjoy going to the beach, walking, playing in local parks. This is our first ourseas trip as a family and we think a home exchange will be ideal to allow our children to be settled for a time and have the chance to explore a part of England. And it will be nice to offer the same opportunity to a family to experience our wonderful part of the world.

Your neighbourhood

The property is situated near the historic National Trust village of Tilba Tilba (world famous for its cheeses). 16km from the picturesque fishing village of Bermagui and 18 from the brillant blue lagoon of Wagonga Inlet famous for its oysters and seafood.

The property stands at the foot of Mt Dromedary (Gulaga) a mysterious aboriginal site. Visit the penguins on Montage Island and see the awe inspiring humpback whales as they make their way south during October and November.

Swim at your choice of dozens of beachs, frolic with dolphins through the waves or dive with seals.

The area has extensive National Parks protecting the wilderness of South East NSW.

Most of all enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet and magnificant natural beauty and great locally produced food at your doorstep.

Tilba Tilba is centrally situated to the main cities of Australia. Within easy reach of Canberra, a half days drive to Sydney and a days drive to Melbourne. The Snowy Mountains are 2 hours drive away with magnificent spring flowers.
