Our home

2 bedroom duplex in a peaceful location in an exclusive residential estate in the South East of Melbourne. The living area is upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite, and the second has a queen bed. There are a second bathroom (with bath) and separate toilet. There is also a small study nook in the open plan living area with a computer and printer you can use if needed. Kitchen has a dishwasher and granite benches. There are two decks to front and back. The back one looks over the golf course. There is also a backyard entertaining area downstairs with a BBQ, firepit and water feature. The home is very comfortable, stylish and quiet. Keyless entry makes coming and going a breeze and no need to worry about where to pick up or leave the house keys. And you can never lock yourself out accidentally.
The house is two level so it is not suitable for those with walking difficulties. The house is not suitable for young children.
We have two young cats who will also need looking after. If you can't, then let us know and we can make other arrangements. But would prefer if they can stay at home.

Who we are

  1. I am a psychologist in private practice on the Peninsula. My husband Zak works in demand planning near Melbourne city. We are very clean and tidy and do not smoke nor drink heavily. We will look after your home like it is our own. And we look after our own extremely well :).
We love to travel, discover great places to eat (especially with a view) and to walk. In fact, we love a view especially of nature, but also town/cityscapes. We need a reasonable lead time to organise days off except for weekend escapes. Happy to look after cats and/or dogs.
We have 2 female tabby cats who are shy but affectionate and we would appreciate if you like cats and can agree to look after them during the swap.

  2. We can do close-by weekend escapes most times with enough notice.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Sandhurst Club Estate is leafy residential estate built around 2 golf courses with kilometres of walking/cycling paths. There is a restaurant at the club house and a cafe. There are tennis courts for a fee. There is monitored security for peace of mind. https://www.sandhurst.com/
Sandhurst is about 12 minutes drive to the beach, and is a similar distance to the gateway to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with its many attractions. Melbourne city is about 45 minutes drive. The airport is about an hour.
Sandhurst is a good location for exploring both the city and the Mornington Peninsula and even Philip Island, as it is located between the two. Plus it is serene so you can also just relax.
