Our home

Our home is large and very spacious. Tiled throughout living areas. Timber/carpet in bedrooms. The 6th bedroom is now our office/study, however there are 2 master brms (the 2nd having 1 double bed + 1 bunk. Main master brm opens out to an underground pool and lovely outside BBQ entertaining area with large waterproof gazebo, perfect for those beautiful sunny Perth days. Temps can get pretty high in summer so the pool is well used.
House has 3 air conditioners and a slow combustion wood fire for cozy winter nights. Digital widescreen TV and surround sound hi-fi makes for great entertainment indoors. You can even use our DVD unlimited membership at our local Video-Ezy store. Home is very practical and kid friendly.

Who we are

  1. We are a very close and loving family of 6. Original Mum & Dad with 4 children. The boys are 18 and 16 yrs old. The girls are 13 and 11 yrs old. The other important members of our family are our 2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Shar-Lee and Fidget. I (Terri) work part-time for the local shire as a relief library clerk and also look after our school library on a voluntary basis. Library work is my passion. My husband, Noel owns his own steel fabrication business and I do the accounts (in between my work and the kids' needs). We would love to travel to the Gold Coast in 2006 and are open to offers elsewhere after this. We are very considerate and responsible home owners and would treat your home as we would our own. Three of our children are still at school with the oldest now working in the hospitality industry. Thus, we are mostly tied to WA's school holidays for travel.
Hopefully there are other families in the same boat, ie. school timetables, who might like to see other parts of Australia.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is very friendly. Street is quiet, yet close to Roe Hwy - the link to favourite shopping malls and a fairly direct route into Perth City. Being situated in the foothills of Kalamunda, there are some wonderful bushwalks and scenic drives to be had. Lesmurdie falls is just 10 mins away. Our location makes it very easy to see alot of what Perth has to offer. Everything is no more than 30 mins away, often much less. We are just one hour from Mandurah, a very popular spot for visitors to W.A. Hillary's boat harbour is only 35 mins from our suburb. Our beaches are some of the best in the world. Our suburb of Forrestfield is about 40 mins from popular beaches like Cottesloe and Trigg. Great surfing! A trip to Fremantle, especially the new maritime museum is also a must.
