Our home

Our home has what you need but does not waste space on optional extras. The two bedrooms are large with enough room to move not just sleep. There is one main living room, a kitchen, a sleep-out/study, laundry and bathroom.

In Perth, you will want to spend time outdoors. We have a front lawned courtyard and a large back garden with fruit and nut trees and self-sowing seasonal vegetables that border on being weeds at times.

We really live here and our priorities are apparent in our home. We have not bothered to repaint walls scribbled on by young children but we have a great home theatre in the living room. Our garden has weeds in it but we also grow great vegetables. It is the important things in life (like children and the outdoors) that absorb our attention.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My name is Alana and my husband is Mark. We have two small boys (Ethan and Shay). For years now we have been planning to take our small children to another country to live for a while, to experience the richness of another culture and to learn another language.

France has been on the top of our list because of the beauty of the country, the language and the way-of-life that we have heard so much about from other adoring visitors. Norway has also impressed us for similar reasons.

We love living, the outdoors, walking, mountains, rivers, lakes, people, food, wine, but most of all our children. We want to give them (and ourselves) an experience that we will remember forever.

We are not interested in living in another city or working in our professions (we can do that at home). We want to live in the country and smell the flowers and perhaps get our hands dirty to earn some spending money.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are 150m from the wide grassed parks that border the beautiful Swan River. As they say: "location, location, location".

Ours is perfect for a family with young children, young adults with a desire for the right mix of night-life and breathing space, or mature adults who like to potter in the garden during the day and visit the concert hall to hear a symphony in the evening.

Perth, more so than any other capital city in the world (though I may be bias) is a place to draw breath without giving up the benefits of living in a city. The only problem is that once you get here and meet some great people you might decide that you don't want to go home.
