Our home

Our home is a delightful bungalow built by a WWI Anzac veteran for his English bride in the 1920s. The front veranda leads to an open-plan lounge room/dining area and rear kitchen. Features include polished floorboards, an open fireplace and cast-iron stove. Stained-glass kitchen windows overlook the grassy backyard and mango tree. There is a master bedroom, single bedroom and child's nursery. We love entertaining visitors with a barbecue on our shady veranda under the gum tree. Inside, the double cavity brick insulation provides a cool retreat on those hot Aussie summer days.
