Our home

My home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a comfortable open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lounge room opens onto a terrace area with a barbecue and outdoor area ideal for casual dining or just enjoying breakfast in the sunshine. The main bedroom has a generous en-suite and the large second bathroom has a shower and bath. There is a laundry, well equipped kitchen and an undercover garage for 2 cars.
The main shopping area for Mornington is nearby with a Wednesday street market and access to Port Phillip Bay and sandy swimming beaches lined by colourful bathing boxes. Melbourne, one of the world's most livable cities, is accessible from Mornington.

Who we are

  1. I am a recently retired teacher who has worked in England, Thailand and Australia. I love to travel, investigate new places and enjoy meeting new people. I am learning Italian and love the challenge of discovering the history of an area and exploring places of cultural or historical interest. In my spare time I paint, read and enjoy walking in the countryside.
Sometimes I travel with 2 friends, a retired married couple, who have a lovely apartment very close to Melbourne. This apartment is also listed on HomeForExchange (ID 70285) and it may be possible for anyone who is interested to combine our 2 homes in a home exchange visit to Melbourne.
