Who we are

  1. Peri and I are married in our 40's and 50's, we no longer have children living with us. I (Martin) am a Company Director, in the packaging and dispensing industry. Peri is a primary teacher at a local school. Our interests are varied, we are both involved in classic sportscars. She has a TR6 (going), while I have an Austin Healey 3000 (in bits, long term project!). We both have a love of good food, good wine, reading (we have a large library in the house), and travel.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is located within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Healesville, a small, attractive, country town that retains that 'country town' ambience despite its proximity to Melbourne. It is the main settled area of the Yarra Valley wine growing region, famous for fine Pinot Noir, Chardonay, and sparkling wines. Some names are Domaine Chandon (Green Point), DeBortolli, Coldstream Hills, though there are over 30 different ones. 10 minutes drive brings you to these and a number of other major Australian Vineyards. Healesville is a cultural and tourist centre with good shopping, numerous restaurants, (more at a number of the local vineyards) coffee shops and wine bars. We are located One and a quarter hours drive to the east of central Melbourne and 1 hour from Melbourne Airport.
