Our home

Our home is a modern 4 bedroom sandstone residence on 50 acres of Australian bush with uninterrupted sea views and 100 mts from a deserted white sand beach. There is a games room with eight ball table, 12mt heated swimming pool and private gardens. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds, master with queen size bed and ensuite with spa and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a fully equiped kitchen and family room and separate lounge and dining room. There is a walking trail around the property (40 mins) as well as miles of beaches.

Property features

Who we are

  1. John and Lois are early retirees with 2 adult children. We love to ski. We have skiied in Europe, Australia and NZ and would like to try North America. Ideally we are looking for a home or condo in a major ski resort. Our youngest son who will be on University holidays is travelling with us and our older son is hoping to get time off work to join us.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is 100 miles from Launceston, an easy 2 hour drive and it is 10 mins south from the nearest town of St. Helens. The house would be a good base for exploring the rest of Tasmania as the state is relatively small (similar in size to Ireland). St. Helens is a fishing town of approx 2,000 people with all the modern amenities. The North East of Tasmania is particularly beautiful with mountain and coastal scenery and enjoys a mediterranean climate with February being the warmest month (20-30oc).
