Your neighbourhood

Hobart the 2nd oldest city in Australia was founded in 1803 and sits on the shores of the River Derwent at the foot of the picturesque Mount Wellington.
Our home is situated 1 minute away from the waterfront and the docks. It is still a working fishing port so on the one side you have the fishing boats and on the other there are the areas for leisure craft. Salamanca with its famous Saturday market is close by. The Theatre Royal which is the oldest working theatre in Australia is one block away as is the Federation Concert Hall the home of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
The mountain contains a myriad of tracks with incredible views for those who enjoy a good walk. Beautiful botanical gardens which overlook the river are well worth a visit.
Tasmania is well renowned for its fresh produce seafood, meat, game, vegetables and fruit, these are put to good use by an abundance of fine restaurants in the area.It is a great base to explore the beautiful East coast, Huon Valley etc.
There are many fine vineyards just a short drive away.
Bicycle tracks an Aquatic centre, surfing, fishing and all water sport activities are readily available.
