The house is two storied with lounge, dining, kitchen, separate laundry, ensuite bedroom with WIR. Upstairs is one large double bedroom with WIR, the third bedroom is set up as an office with computer(Broadband internet)and library. A gallery overlooks the downstairs living area. A separate bathroom (bath and sep. shower)and separate toilet with hand basin is also on this floor. Living areas are tiled and bedrooms are carpeted.

A private courtyard for meals and BBQ's is at the rear of the house. The gardens are all maintained by onsite staff. There is no work to do but enjoy the wonderful climate.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are 300 metres from a lovely sandy beach and across the road are beautiful Botanical Gardens with a lake and numerous varieties of birds. A shopping complex is 200 metres along the road. Hervey Bay is the whale watching centre of Australia where cruises to see the whales leave every day from May to November. The Marina is only 5 minutes from the house where the Boat Club is a great venue for very affordable meals with a large deck overlooking the Marina and Fraser Island - a World Heritage Wildlife Sanctuary offering marvellous tours. Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is 3 hours away by car, bus or train. Jets fly to Brisbane and Sydney, daily. Tours to the Great Barrier Reef are also available.
There is a tree-shaded, 9 kilometre paved walking and cycling track which follows the foreshore from headland to headland with an 800 metre pier for great fishing. Shops and restaurants can be found along the esplanade.

Temperatures range from 19 to 26 degrees in winter (Apr to Sept) and 20 to 30 degrees (Oct to Mar). Hervey Bay has a very comfortable micro climate which escapes the humidity and heat of the tropics.

The neighbours are very friendly and helpful and would make our guests feel at home.
